Sokoto State All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate and Speaker, House of Representatives, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has been declared winner of the April 11 governorship election by the state returning officer, Professor Abubakar Abdullahi Bagudu.
Making the declaration at about 07:12 pm Bagudu said, a total of 958, 736 votes were cast with 926, 682 as valid and 320, 54 as invalid. APC polled 647, 609 while PDP got 269, 074 votes.
